A Column of Fire Musical, Denmark
In 2019, The Bellevue Teatret in Copenhagen, Denmark, launched a musical version of Ken’s 2017 novel, A Column of Fire. Den Evige Ild was a great success and was awarded a second run in 2020 with a new cast including Morten Hemmengsen (from TV2’s Badehotellet ).
A Column of Fire was adapted for the stage by Lasse Aagaard, Thomas Høg and Sune Svanekier, the same team behind the successful Jordens Søjler, the stage musical of The Pillars of the Earth.
In 2019, Den Evige Ild was nominated in four categories in the Broadway World Denmark Awards.
