I wanted to pass on that my family has three generations that love your writing. My mother started with ‘Eye of the Needle’. My favorite was ‘Jackdaws’. My father and daughters' favorite is ‘Pillars of the Earth’. We are all reading ‘World Without End’ right now. It's sad – but I have to buy three copies so we can discuss it as we go!

Dear Mr. Follett,
I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed 'Pillars of the Earth' and 'World Without End'.. I was on a business trip to Chicago and accidentally left 'World Without End' (minus the dust cover) on the limo from the airport to my hotel. I was about two-thirds of the way through the book and was sick about it. I called the limo company and they tracked my book down and delivered it to my hotel in the middle of the night. I would have gone out and bought another copy just to finish it. Please write another in that series. I loved them. Thank you and happy holidays.

I've just completed ‘World Without End’ and I must say it's the most absorbing book I've ever read. Although its fictional (I did look up Kingsbridge on Google to make sure), the way you describe the locations makes it feel very real. Next book to read, ‘Pillars of the Earth’.

I want to thank you for the very informative lessons in Masterclass about becoming a writer. Most other writers just talk about how hard it is being a writer and how it requires a lot of hard work, etc. but you have shown instead of telling how hard it is. I want to say "thank you" for letting us, aspiring writers, see a little of what a working writer's life is all about and how you go about your work.

Thank you so much for all of your works, but most especially for 'Pillars of the Earth' and 'World Without End'. Both are gripping and difficult to put down, once one begins reading. It was especially enjoyable to learn so much political history, as well as gaining a better understanding of so many layers of the common folk of early England. I knew that there were many feudal customs that we consider barbaric today, but your presentation of them was so riveting that I felt compelled to read any time I had a spare moment. Thank you! I can hardly wait for your next effort.

I am fifteen years old and have just finished reading 'The Pillars of The Earth' – a hardcover copy which my mother gave to me to read after having read it herself many years ago. 'Love' is such a weak word for me to describe my feeling towards your works. I feel them, live them and breathe them. I often get a personal attachment towards the characters in your book. Ken, Just thought you might like to know the inspiration from ‘Pillars of the Earth’ led my 16-year-old son into an apprenticeship in stonemasonry here in Sydney, Australia. He is 9 months from the end of this four-year gift to his life and is working in heritage restoration on the beautiful sandstone buildings in Sydney. Many thanks for your beautiful books. I have just finished 'Hornet Flight', the tenth of your books I have read. Wow! I thoroughly enjoy your writing and thank you for sharing your talent. 'A Place Called Freedom' is especially meaningful to me because it put life into the mechanics of my family history and helped address the question "What on earth caused these people to make the immigration decisions they made?"
