I realize that you probably do not have the time to reply, but I had to write and let you know that 'The Pillars of the Earth' is by FAR the best book I have ever read. I don't know what it is, but there is something about it that has me captured. I am a pretty hard-hearted guy, but this book has touched me on all levels of emotion.

Just to say how much we have both enjoyed your writing especially 'Pillars of the Earth' and 'World without End'. We have since gifted copies to our friends who have similarly not been able to put them down! We do hope that you keep writing especially in this vein as we feel that we have learnt so much social history as well as enjoying the plot. It is very difficult to choose which of the sagas we enjoyed most. 'World without End' just got it because we were really fascinated by the accounts of the plague and its devastation in small communities and the measures taken to counter it. Please do find the time and energy to continue in this genre!
We will eagerly await further books by you.

First of all, sorry if my English is bad, but I'm just an Italian girl and I am only 13 years old. Second, I wanted to tell you you're a fantastic writer! A friend told me to read ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ (in Italian) and when I first saw it I was terrified by the length, 1 030 pages. Then I started reading it, and in eight days I finished it. You are really talented. I just finished reading ‘The Third Twin’ (always in Italian) and it is the best book I ever read.
Thanks for being one of the pillars of my world.

I love any author who is willing to talk to fans. There are many authors I adore that don't want messages because they'll get swamped by them. That is understandable but I still like to just say I like you and what you write! I'm 14 and I want to be a writer one day. I'm sure you get a lot of these type of messages but I don't care if I'm part of a clique. Anyway, I'm rambling, you're great, there that's what this is all about!

Mr. Follett, I am aghast that I am only just reading ‘Pillars of the Earth’! It is such a good book!!! I am enjoying it immensely! I have heard other people rave about this book, but I kind of dismissed it at first. I am generally not a fancier of spy novels and I knew that was your forte. Maybe that is why I tended to overlook your book at first. I am so glad I changed my mind! Looking forward to reading ‘World without End’! Thank You!!

Hello Mr. Follett. I just finished reading 'Pillars of the Earth'. With a full-time job and two little girls at home it's hard for me to find time to read anything beyond the back of a cereal box. This book was amazing, gripping, illuminating and the perfect parallel to the insanity going on in the markets today. I absolutely loved your book. I can't wait to read 'World Without End' Thank you for filling my drab commute with such wildly entertaining writings!

I read 'The Pillars of the Earth' when it first hit the stands in Canada. It was brilliant. I have since read many of your other works. However,in my humble opinion, 'World Without End' far surpasses all previous works. I savoured it; I thoroughly enjoyed every word; I couldn't put it down, couldn't wait to see how it ended and yet was so disappointed to finish. My husband is currently reading it and I am enjoying it once again through him.
