Dear Ken
I read 'Hornet Flight' as the first of your books. Until the last page, I thought you where a Dane or had Danish relations. My deepest respect for the many typical Danish details you brought into the book. What research!

Dear Mr. Follett!
I'm just writing you to say a great thanks for your brilliant novel 'The Modigliani Scandal'. I am 19 and I am very interested in fine arts, that's why I got much pleasure out of reading it! This is a real true-to-life book. I'm waiting for some new things connected with arts, describing human relations at the same time from you.
Best regards,
Dmitry

Dear Ken
Mostly I have enjoyed your novels where the plot is based on period subjects. Your descriptions are vivid paying careful attention to details. Also I like your books mostly where you venture to bring out the human emotions that underplay your characters. I usually read whenever I could lay my hands on one.

Dear Ken
Your books have made me enjoy reading. I haven't read for enjoyment ever before. I picked up the 'Eye of the Needle', that my dad bought years ago, and I have already finished nine more novels since September of 2004. Thank you for bringing the love of reading into my life.
Sincerely,

Dear Ken
Absolutely thrilled to learn that your are writing a sequel to 'Pillars of the Earth'. It is perhaps one of the best books I have read, in fact I think I have read it at least three times and each read is as good as the first. Thank you. Read whiteout in two days – a real page turner. In fact I had to go back later and re-read at a reasonable pace. I have read all your books and eagerly await new publications. Thanks,
Barb

Hi Ken,
I just finished your 'Pillars of the Earth' and I've been simply flabbergasted for the intensity and beauty of this masterpiece. I have also to praise 'Eye of the Needle', which I read in 1985, 'A Place Called Freedom', and now I'm reading' Hammer of Eden'.
Since 'Eye of the Needl'e I always liked the way you write. In the introduction of 'Pillars' you thanked us Italians for always supporting you, and as an Italian I wish to tell you that you're very welcome.
Also the 'Third Twin' has been a very well built story with all the plot behind keeping the suspense til the end of the book. After reading the book I also watched the telly version of 'Third Twin' and sincerely I think the telly version has been too simplicistic, and the same for the telly version of 'Eye of the Needle'.

You are an amazing author but I guess you get told that a thousand times. I had never read any of your books until a couple of weeks ago, and now I've already read eight! What I particularly like is your development of "grey" characters. Even your villains are not totally black; you make an effort to make them comprehensible, if not forgivable.
I also like the fact that you are not as right-winged as many of your literary colleagues. It was not surprising to me when I found this website and discovered that you're married to a member of the Labour Party. I know I'm biased politically, but it seems to this 54 year-old that your head is in the right place!
