I can't believe I didn't know when ‘A Column of Fire’ came out. You are one of three authors I read and would love to meet.

You amaze me. Every time I read your book I am blown away by the amount of research you do so the historic facts are accurate. I know it is not the newest of your books but currently I am reading the second of the Century trilogy. I have read most of your books. One of my all time favorites was 'Pillars'. Mr. Follett you are truly one of the best.

Ken, having read all of your books available in the United States , I thirst for more. I am eighty-five years and may be running out of time. Anything on the horizon?

Dear Mr Follett, this is the first time ever I write to an author :) I have just read one of your first books - 'Night Over Water' - and I enjoyed it very much, as much as I always have done whatever book of yours I read. I don't remember the names of the books any more... sorry. But I certainly have read the major part of them .. 'Eye of the Needle', 'The Man from St Petersburg', 'Hornet Flight' and many many more.

Mr. Ken Follett,
I have watched series of some of our novels and I am hooked! I am going to purchase the novels and spend my summer reading them. I am a brand new middle school English teacher in Massachusetts and plan to figure out a way of bringing your novels into my lesson plans. I look forward to diving deeper into everything you have to offer.

Mr. Follett,
I just completed reading ‘The Pillars of the Earth’, for the 2nd time. I found it even better the 2nd time.
With that being said I have read the Kingsbridge Series before but thought it would be fun to do so again.
I can’t think of a book that just pulled me in like ‘Pillars’, even on my second reading. Though, it has been many years apart.

Thank you for writing such a beautiful story.

Dear Mr Follett
This message is just and only to tell you that I absolutely love your books!! Im from Brazil and have read all of them which were translated by a Brazilian publisher. They are all great history lessons, which one by one makes me wake up in the middle of the night to check the end of a chapter and at the same time makes me try to save the pages to last more days.

I hope the Brazilian publisher gets more titles (saw we don't have them all).

All the best! Kind regards,

Hello Ken, I just finished 'A Column of Fire'. Another amazing book! Did you portray yourself in Ned Willard? Somehow I felt his character was portrayed very poignantly, very personally. God bless you for your work and your tremendous talent. I am left wishing I could give the gift of an amazing adventure to people the way you do.

I am listening to ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. Now watching the collapse of Notre Dame I am grieving more deeply the loss of this magnificent cathedral. Your book has given me an appreciation of the cathedrals and the people who built them. Thank you for your masterful story. Just so ironic that I am hearing it now.

Thanks to you writing ‘The Pillars of the Earth’, I knew what went into building a Notre-Dame cathedral and felt like I had been there watching it go up. And all of that wonder done without a computer! Thank you for writing it, as well as your other books.

Mr. Follett: I recently re-read ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. Having re-read it so recently, I can imagine the thoughts and feelings that are going through your mind and heart right now with the Notre Dame Cathedral fire.

I just want to give you shout out on your Kingsbridge Series. I came across these novels through my library's suggestion. I usually read novels during the Tudor era. ‘The Pillars of Earth’ intrigued my interest during that time frame. I wanted to learn about more of the history. So thank you! I love your detail of the different customs during that time, it is like you went back in time. Good research. I'm in the middle of ‘World Without End’, it is so hard to put it down. Again that makes you a great writer.

Ken, I've just completed Column of Fire and have now read all 6 books of your two trilogies. I've never been more excited to stop whatever I'm doing in life an immerse myself in a book than when I'm reading yours. Your ability to weave fictional characters into actual events is brilliant, and I love the sense you create of actually living in these times and getting to know the historical characters as living, breathing, flesh and blood people. You also create strong female characters, which I always appreciate.

You are a treasure! Thank you for creating my favorite way to learn history, and providing me with so many hours of educational entertainment. Please keep teaching me history... I can't wait to read whatever is next.
