I can't get enough of these books. You are also my favorite author as I have tried to acquire everything you have ever written. Your Century Trilogy was great. So was ‘Jackdaws’. And ‘The Third Twin’. I could go on but I am sure you don't want me too! Thanks!

I love your books. I was 13 when I first came across them, and since then, I have come to love every single book of yours that I have read. I have always been a reader, but you made me fall in love with reading all over again. Thank you for that.

Hi Ken, I just wanted to message and say how wonderful ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ is. I have just finished reading after a long six years of picking up, putting down, going off reading for a while and struggling to work and have a family. I could probably slotted those six years in to the book as I felt like I was on my own little adventure to finish it. Can I just say that its been a long time since I have enjoyed a book as much. The history, the characters, the battles and emotions was so beautifully woven that I’ve bought the second in the Kingsbridge series today. I cant wait for it to arrive. Well done on a truly fantastic novel and for allowing me to live the last few weeks through eyes of your characters.

Many thanks

Your cerebral-ness, illustriousness and immense creativity produced some of the best (historical) novels I have ever come across. You have no idea how deeply inspired I am by their sheer excellence. I have to purposefully slow down my reading pace so that the books will last me longer. I am going to collect your entire collection!

I am doing a 'book tasting' display for our library with my favorite books and authors to share with patrons. I want to tell you, your books top my list of all time favorite since I read the 'Eye of the Needle' many years ago. Then I picked up 'Pillars of the Earth' when I lived in Europe able to visit the ruins of the old churches, it is my favorite book of all I have read. Thank you for your painstaking research, writing style and love of history. I have found great pleasure reading your works. We all should know there are many people that love what we do, so thank you for sharing your talent with us.

I won't pretend I've read all of your books, but I've never read one I didn't enjoy. I recently met 'Night Over Water' set on the Pan American Clipper flying boat and thoroughly enjoyed it. What more does a reader really need from a book? I remember seeing flying boats in Southampton as a young child, and being fascinated how ungainly the damned things were when they were taxiing out to take off. And how noisy.
All your books I have read have been characterised by being 'slow starters', but that is no bad thing, and there's always enough to keep a reader turning 'just one more page'.

I wish you well.
