Hello there! My name is Alana and I am 16 years old. I have traveled to many exotic places around the world, including China, Peru, India, Nepal, and more. I have a deep love for learning about history/religion, inspired by my amazingly influential teacher. She suggested that I read ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. From the first page of the book, I was completely captivated, and devoured the book within a couple days. It was like nothing I have ever read before and truly an eye opening experience for me. ‘Pillars’ has helped develop and strengthen my passion for history and religion enormously. Throughout reading the book, I was truly amazed by the depth and content of the story, along with the intriguing historical background. The amount of research that you must have been done leaves me speechless. The characters were portrayed so beautifully, leaving me emotionally invested in the book. I just could not put it down. I cannot wait to read the many other books you have written. I am very thankful to have read such a breathtaking story. Europe is now definitely on my list of places to travel to. Hope to hear from you!

You are my favourite author. I have read both 'Kingsbridge' books and the whole Century Trilogy.
And they are all the best I have ever read and will forever be close to my heart.

Just wanted to say I only recently discovered your books and I am enjoying them immensely. I've just finished ‘A Dangerous Fortune’.... what an epic tale. Just started ‘The Man From St Petersburg’ and as usual... it's hard to put down. Thanks Ken, the train commute to work is flying by these days thanks to your novels.
