Here you will find selected letters you have written (earlier ones over the years are here), and a quick quiz.
I received these letters recently, and thought you would enjoy them as much as I did…

I'm a student from Portugal and a devout reader of your books. Your Century trilogy, was very important to me, and it was one of the main reasons why the area which I’m studying, political science and international relations, appealed to me so much.
Characters like Walter von Ulrich, Gus Dewar and Lloyd Williams fascinated me and helped me understand what I wanted in life.
For that, and for an amazing way of writing, I thank you, Mr. Follett.

I just finished reading your trilogy. What an epic work. Had a really hard time putting it down. Missed quite a few hours of sleep.

I have read all your books and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I bought the first one at the airport in Amsterdam, ‘The Pillars of the Earth’, and I was hooked. Your books are so diverse. I anxiously await the next book.

Hello Ken (and Team Ken!) I am writing to you simply to express my joy at your writing. Recently, I completed the Century Trilogy, which was magnificent (historical heartfelt = inspiring!!) I talked about it and learned so much as I was reading, my mom and husband read the trilogy as well. So many times, I wanted to stop reading and somehow reach out to you, to congratulate you and thank you. THANK YOU for what you do. You are delightful with words.
I'm grateful to have found your work, the first time at a used book sale for charity (’A Dangerous Fortune’) From that moment on, I was hooked. Might be funny to hear, I am a 32-year-old mother who lives in Canada :) Just about to start ‘The Modigliani Scandal’... swiped it from the library...and laughed out loud at your introduction. You write in such a reachable, relate-able, understandable, funny and heartfelt way. You really empathize with people with all kinds, making your characters so believable.
This may sound more like 'crazed fan mail', but my real message here is Thank You :) You are affecting the way people think and view the world, for the better. Thank you :)

Dear Mister Follett,
I would like to thank you for your literary work. I enjoyed reading your novels in English (I am French) and I learnt some historical details which I knew badly. The significant number of character in your novels and your dynamic way of writing make your novels very pleasant to read. I find that all your characters are interesting, even the “nasties”, even William Hamleigh!
Thanks again for your work.
With respectful regards,

"Do understand I may not be able to reply to you directly". I'll keep it short then =]
Love your books. ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ particularly was my escape during a part of my life which wasn't too pleasant. It wasn't just a book to me and I thank you for writing it.

I have now finished reading the Century Trilogy.
A unique masterpiece. As a German and a filmmaker I of course also like everything you wrote about the divided Germany. I have cried, I have laughed and never stopped being eager to continue to read on. What a trip! Thank you so much for making this the best reading experience of my life!

Hello Ken, I would like to say that I have enjoyed every book of yours that I have read. One of the first books I read was ‘The Third Twin’, it was recommended by a friend, and I must admit.... I loved it! And from that point, I have decided that I would like to read all your books. I also loved ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘World Without End’, and have read both twice. I have a list and marking out every one of them off my list.
If you’ve read several of my books, you might enjoy matching the first line with the title, or guessing the working title
