I have been a big fan of your books since a colleague recommended ‘Eye of the Needle’ many years ago. I have read and kept all of them and look forward to new titles coming out.

Hello Ken,
I have not been able to put ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ down and just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying it. Non-stop action with fabulous characters (William will surely get it in the end!!!). You are enormously talented at weaving a terrific story with so much history. I am a descendent of William the Conqueror so I love reading medieval stories as well. I am glad it’s a long book as I’ll be sad when it’s over! My mother-in-law couldn’t put it down either. I read some of your books back in high school and now at 48, I will read the rest of them! Thank you so much for this wonderful story!!!

PS: I was in London this summer and had the thrill of going into the Tower of London! And I went to the University of Bath in 1986 and lived a few blocks from the gorgeous Bath Abbey. I was lucky enough to see it again this summer. I also was in Paris before London this August and almost wept when I saw the inside of Notre Dame Cathedral so your church building strikes a nice chord with me!!!

I just now saw that the 3rd book of the trilogy is not due out until September. My anticipation was piqued to climax January 2014. I guess I’ll have to stress relief by reading ‘Code to Zero’. It would do all your books an injustice by selecting any one or three over the others because I have enjoyed all, not equally, but all. That’s why I started with the first book of yours that I read, ‘Eye of the Needle’. I know you can’t rush perfection, but please hurry.

Hello Ken,
I’m a 14 year old boy from Barcelona. I’m writing this message to tell that your books have changed my life. I always hated reading because for me it was very boring, but one friend recommended your book, ‘Fall of Giants’, and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the third book!!!
Thank you and please never stop writing.

Hello Ken
I’m just a regular guy, worked hard all my life and have left 4 wonderful people to carry on when I’m gone. I love to read now that life allows it. I read ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘World without End’ and can’t say enough how much I enjoyed them. You do a wonderful job, thank you so much for writing them and I will read all your others if time allows.

Peace

Dear Ken,
I am from Virginia and am a new reader of yours. I have only read ‘Fall of Giants’ and just finished reading ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. I am writing to say that ‘Pillars’, without a doubt, is the best novel I have ever read. I have been an avid reader my whole life (24 years old) and have never found a book that I was so invested in. The depth of the characters and the vivid descriptions of places were fantastic. I found myself constantly rooting for Jack and Aliena as well as loathing William Hamleigh. I have never tried reaching out to an author, nor do I expect a reply. However, I had to after reading this book to let you or someone know just how great I thought it was. Thank you, Mr. Follett, and you have gained another reader.

I signed up yesterday, but read your ‘Masterclass’ notes today. Thank you SO much! I found them very helpful, as I am at the outline stage, with a conference coming up next weekend. I know now what I need to have ready.

Cheers!

I learned more about the wars reading your books than I did in my history exam. I am now making my children read them to help them too.
