Hi Ken,
Just have to tell you that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘Fall of Giants’. You are an incredible writer. I don’t know how you do it – with all of the research, story weaving, number of characters, and historical settings, not to mention the length of your books. Some of my friends have been astounded by your writing as well. Can’t wait to read more.

You are an amazing person – genius. Keep up the absolutely incredible work.

I have read many books on WWI (as many as I could find), and could not believe the numbers of deaths raked up through the stupidity of our allied tactics. This rang through in your book, ‘Fall of Giants’. I was very impressed by your ability to take that war to its’ people. I now know how the people were changed by war, and why we are still affected by its horrors. THANK YOU for being a great writer and teacher! I do so look forward to book two. Keep up the fabulous work!!!

Good day Mr. Follett, I just finished re-reading ‘Whiteout’ and fell in love with it again. I’ve been reading your novels for many years and just purchased ‘Fall of Giants’. With great anticipation, I will be starting it this evening.
Please accept my congratulations and deep appreciation of your splendid body of work. You are one of my favorite authors, sir.

Thank you, once again.

Dear Ken, I’ve read all your works. Most of them at least twice! They may be ‘work’ to you but to me they are literally literary perfection. Please never stop writing.

Many thanks.

Mr. Follett,
Congratulations on your smartly done site! For me personally, Masterclass was very instructive.
Just FYI: I’m reading my 1st book by you (The Pillars of the Earth) in French (since it was lent to me by a French-speaking person), and, BTW, I’m Russian :)

Thank you for your work which I consider not just as literature but also as a practical modern guide to business relationships :)

Kind regards,

Dear Mr. Follett,
I have read ‘Fall of Giants’ and I found it to be absolutely awesome! I enjoyed it thoroughly and can’t wait for the second book to be released! I could identify and sympathise with many characters from the book, and I specially loved the social rise of Ethel Williams! I had also enjoyed ‘World Without End’ and I look forward to the TV series based on it! Thank you so much for these wonderful books.

I am a rather new fan to your work and have read about eight of your books. I really don’t understand how you can possibly come up with the stories that you do. I really think that you are quite brilliant and I thank you for it. You are really easy on the eyes as well. Thanks so much!!!

I am really enjoying ‘Fall of Giants’ and eagerly await the next book in the series. ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and sequel were equally enjoyed, and it is a pleasure to recommend your books to friends. Many thanks for hours and hours of fabulous reading time!

I thoroughly enjoy ALL your books. A favorite is hard to pick.

My dear Mr. Follett
I have just finished ‘A Dangerous Fortune’ and enjoyed it immensely. What a great writer you are. It was my first ‘Follett’ and I dare say it won’t be my last. Thank you so much.

Mr Follett
You’re not writing books fast enough. LOL. Sorry I think that I am one of your biggest fans. I read ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ when I was about 14 years old. I have been hooked ever since. When my husband got me ‘Fall of Giants’ for my birthday last year, I was ecstatic… even more so when I realised that there are two more novels to follow.
I have read and re-read all of your books. Just re read ‘The Man from St Petersburg’ for the umpteenth time. I have a book for every mood and normally have about two or three on the go at once. One of them is guaranteed to be a Follett book.

Thank you for enriching my life over the years…

Hi Ken
Having just finished ‘Fall of Giants’ I thought I’d send you a fan email, although I don’t know why. I have always loved to read and was told that I made a big impression on the TV repair man when I was a toddler by ‘reading’ my book aloud. Guess he didn’t know that little kids can memorize books when they hear it over and over. I cannot put down any of your books since I love historical fiction – mixed with the truth of course! Thanks for the entertainment and lessons.

Can’t help but think how appalled the folks who fought in both world wars would be at people today. We don’t really know much about their huge sacrifices. I was born in 1953 and really wanted to participate in Remembrance Day events, but back then veterans did not discuss their memories and experiences. I still recall wearing my Brownie and Guide uniform and observing the minute of silence, but sadly I could not really conjure up images or anything.

Congratulations on a great career and I am looking forward to your next book.

I had never read you before and only bought your book, ‘Night Over Water’, because I needed a book as I took a very long flight over the Pacific. I figured the title was apropos. It was fantastic and very entertaining. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so purely entertained by such a solid story.

I’ve just been to Amazon and sent a copy to a friend whom I know will love it as well and I look forward to reading your other books. I just wanted to send a little fan letter and thank you for the great read.

Take care,

I thoroughly enjoy your books, especially on audio as I commute back and forth to work. I’m engrossed in ‘Fall of Giants’ at the moment and there are not enough accolades for the writing or the narrator, John Lee. What a superb partnership this is! Thank you, Mr. Follett for your marvellous epics. I can’t wait for #2 in the Century series.

Hallo Ken,
Absolutely loved ‘Fall of Giants’. The research must have been crippling for the book to contain that much information. Brilliant pace, interesting characters and such a historic background makes ‘Fall of Giants’ one of my absolute favourite books of all time. I cannot wait for parts 2 and 3, because I need another sleepless night ;-)
Many thanks for a thumping good read.

Thank you Mr. Follett for writing ‘Pillars’. I’m a Christian pastor and appreciate your forthrightness about not believing in God (or some such). I smile because your book draws me closer to God. I got tears over Prior Philip’s Job Sermon. Thank you for all your work!!! Awesome.

Hi, Mr. Follett! I’m from Armenia and unfortunately haven’t heard of you before! But today I have begun reading a book of yours, ‘The Third Twin’ which a friend of mine gave me. As it interested me very much I have read about you and your works on the internet and now I’m very glad that became one of millions of your readers!
Best regards, your new reader from Armenia!

Do not know whether I wish to thank you or to put the blame on your novels. I am not an avid reader of novels but I absolutely adore your style of phrasing. Whatever it is, I am totally hooked and within weeks I am on the ninth novel (picking them randomly). Every one of them has been thoroughly enjoyable in their own right. I am perturbed only by the fact that other interests have now been put on the back-burner.

Thank you for sharing your gift with us. You certainly have added to the life experience.
Wishing you continuing inspiration, success and happiness.
