Mr. Follett
I have just finished ‘Fall of Giants’. From start to finish, I could not put the book down. With great anticipation, I look forward to the next part of this trilogy. Beginning with ‘Eye of the Needle’ many years ago, I have had the privilege of reading and enjoying many of your novels. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Just like to say how much I really enjoy reading your excellent works. I have only read a few so far but can never put the book down once started. I have read ‘Eye of the Needle’, ‘The Pillars of the Earth’, ‘World Without End’ and have just completed ‘Hornet Flight’. My next one will be ‘Jackdaws’ and then ‘Fall of Giants’. I would have to say that you are the best author I’ve been lucky to come across. Anyone that can get me gripped by an espionage thriller has to be a genius. I never thought it would be my thing. So thanks for such great entertainment. Stay well.

I really enjoyed ‘Fall of Giants’ from my Audible subscription. I listened to it while commuting back and forth to Washington DC every day. November was the shortest commuting month on record; all 30 hours immersed in your book. Excellent story and I look forward to volume 2. My wife also loves the story and we’ve shared it with at least another 10 people. My wife wants to know if you can write a little faster!!!

Dear Mr. Follett,
All your books are just fantastic! I am actually scared to finish the current one I am reading since I then have to wait until you have written another one! Brilliant!

Thank you,

I found an old copy of ‘Night Over Water’ and just started reading. It my first read of one of your books and I LOVED it. I just finished ‘Fall of Giants’ and I CANNOT WAIT for Book Two. I have recently ordered copies of two more of your books. You are my all time favorite author. Thank you for what you do.

Just read: ‘Fall of Giants’ (pretend I underlined the title please!)! The first book of yours that I’ve read. I don’t need to tell you it was great BUT I need to tell you that I’m astounded that your 2nd and 3rd books aren’t even going to be published for 2-3 years from now. What were/are you thinking? Publishing the first book without having the other 2 ready!!!??? I could be dead by then! Please say it isn’t so!

PS I’ll answer your questions below but I really doubt you (Ken Follett) ever even see this info! Possibly no-one sees it!

I have been a big fan of your work, but you truly outdid yourself with ‘Fall of Giants.’ The last chapter was perfect! Looking forward to the next two books.

Just this second finished reading ‘Fall of Giants’. I have loved your work throughout the years and I feel the same way about this one. I am excited to see how the children of your extraodinary characters interact in the next book.

‘Fall of Giants’ was a great read. I envisioned my grandfather in the trenches in France during WWI. I found the sequence of events leading up to WWI fascinating. As always your books are thoroughly enlightening, I dread each time I finish one of your books. While I understand the amount of time it takes to write a book of this magnitude… I will wait patiently for the next book in 2012…

Dear Ken
I just finished watching ‘Pillars’. It was beautifully done. It deserves a Golden Globe! I will be patiently waiting for ‘World Without End’, and will be starting on the new book soon. All the best,

This is getting to be a habit! Allbeit a habit I really enjoy. That is: telling you how much I have enjoyed your latest book. ‘Fall of Giants’is right up there with your best. Anxiously anticipating your next, ‘The Winter of the World’. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely loved the production of ‘Pillars’ on Channel 4. Saturday night is not the same without it. Well done.

Dear Ken: Congrats on ‘Pillars’. I loved the book but the miniseries was great too. I have been reading your latest and have found it a very slow read as there is so much depth to each character. I always hate for the books to end so I am not complaining. Can’t wait for the next one. Blessings and thanks.

Dear Ken,
Thank you for the latest information. I, too, was impressed with the translation of ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ to video. Actually I am expecting the DVD set under the Christmas tree, I left enough hints.

Also, Ken, I am three-quarters of the way into Fall of the Giants, another spectacular effort of yours – a fantastic read, one in which the reader can become present to all that is happening. You have a rare gift which all your fans appreciate.

Barbara and I wish you and your family a joyous Christmas and a Happy, healthy New Year.

Just finishing up ‘Fall of Giants’. Yet another excellent epic. Look forward to the next in the trilogy. I enjoyed reading about WWI, for I typically have a hard time focusing on regular historical accounts. I recently read ‘Pillars of the Earth’ again, and greatly enjoyed it. Followed up with ‘World Without End’. Yesterday I checked ‘Whiteout’ out from the library and look forward to reading that next.

Thank you for your hard work.

As the owner of a small bookstore in an even smaller town in Oregon, I have recommended ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ to hundreds of people as my all-time favorite book. Recently that position has been usurped by another book. ‘Pillars’ has now shifted ever so slightly to make way for ‘Fall of Giants’. I finished it last night and was saddened that it ended and, at the same time, delighted in anticipation of the next title in the trilogy. Thank you for sharing your worlds with me.

Dear Mr. Follett,
I just started ‘Fall of Giants’ and after 160 odd pages, I fear that I may be disappointed when I finish this book. Disappointed not because I won’t have enjoyed it but because the next book is not immediately available. Please do not be overly tardy in getting Book Two into the hands of your faithful following.

I read ‘Eye of the Needle’ many years ago and immediately became hooked on your books. Those that I don’t have in my personal library, I’ve borrowed from the local library.

Your writing style enables me to insert myself into the plot as if I were ‘there’. Thank you for the countless hours of reading enjoyment.

I have only recently discovered your novels, on a friend’s recommendation. I read ‘Jackdaws’ last week and loved it, and now I am half way through ‘Whiteout’. I don’t remember having ever read many novels with the same vice grip as these two masterpieces. Superb work. I’m looking forward to reading them all! Keep well and keep writing! Thanks for the entertainment.

All the best.

Just finished ‘Fall of Giants’. Great book – you can tell a story! You are the most consistent author I know. I have read all your books and you are so consistently good. Look forward to reading the next two books as part of this trilogy. The probability of them being another great novel? About 100%. Thanks.

By the way – I have watched the TV mini-series‘The Pillars of the Earth’ three times – great series! Hope they turn more of your books into movies – they are very entertaining!

Thank you for a most riveting book. I found myself constantly interrupting my reading to learn more about the historical characters and events described in ‘Fall of Giants’. You have increased my knowledge and appreciation of the events of the early twentieth century immeasurably.

Today I finished ‘Fall of Giants’ and I must say it was one of the best books I’ve read in some time. I’m currently deployed to Kyrgyzstan with the US Air Force and your book helped me unwind after long hours on guard duty. Do keep up the excellent work and I look forward to your next book.

Hi Ken
I received ‘Fall of Giants’ for Christmas and finished reading it today. It was magnificent. I missed out on much needed holiday sleep and probably neglected my two year old son while reading it, but it was well worth it! I am eagerly anticipating the publication of the sequel – hurry! :)

I became an instant fan after reading ‘Pillars’ many years ago and so, I was ecstatic to find ‘Fall of Giants’ under my Christmas tree this year! I’ve already read it (took it everywhere, couldn’t put it down!) and it was as rich in detail and as masterfully told as one would expect from such a skilled author. Mr. Follett, congratulations on commencing another series destined to become an epic masterpiece. From all of your devoted readers, thank YOU for sharing your storytelling talent with us, year over year, book over book.
