Finished watching ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ mini series last night and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It has been over 20 years since I have read the novel and I am compelled to pick it up again. I also enjoyed ‘World Without End’ and hope there are plans for another mini series in the future for that as well. I have also read several other Follett novels and rank you as one of my favorite authors. Thanks!

I think ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ was magnificent! The selection of the actors was perfect just as I imagined them reading the book. The locations, costumes, props, acting was fantastic. It was a great production which I enjoyed immensely.

‘Pillars of the Earth’ – both the book (which I’ve read multiple times) and the movie – is a masterpiece. Thank you for writing it.

‘The Pillars of the Earth’. One of my favorite books. I have waited nearly 20 years for someone to make this wonderful, gripping novel into a mini-series. Justice was done with a beautiful cast, script and musical score.

I really appreciate your work. I’ve read all over your books (even the early/children books). ‘Pillars of the Earth’ is by far my favorite, but I enjoy all of them. I recommend PoTE to everybody I cross looking for a book to read. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Dear Mr. Follett,
I want you to know how thrilled I was with the ‘Pillars’ series on Starz. I read the novel years ago and loved it. The series really served the book. It was breathtaking, it brought me to tears, I was so moved by it. It was just as I imagined in my mind. The casting was perfect. I would love to see more things like this on TV. It was so nice to unplug and enjoy such a beautiful event. Congratulations

MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED !!! I knew if I waited, the answer to my question would be clear… A ‘World Without End movie’!! I subscribed to Starz just to watch ‘Pillars’, and was definitely not disappointed !! I have pre-ordered your new ‘Century’ book and can’t wait to read it. I wish you the best over the next four years in your plans and know you have a true fan for life in me… God Bless.

Thank you for the update on your new novel. I am so excited and will download it to my Kindle as soon as it’s released. My family and I enjoyed the ‘Pillars of the Earth’ movie so much. I know you were proud of it, too. It was very realistic and fairly true to your book. And how wonderful that "World Without End" may be a movie, too! We can’t wait.
God bless you and your family. Enjoy your book tour!

It’s great to know your pen, or in these modern times your fingers on the keyboard, are at work. I look forward to reading your book. Enjoy your travels.
P.S. Your survey asks for a favorite book; I’ve read them all and there are only a couple that are not favorites.

Mr. Follett,
It’s been two weeks since I’ve finished your book "World Without End" and still have feelings of withdrawal (I was addicted!). I felt an array of emotions while reading this novel. I am now looking forward to reading the prequel! Thank you so much for sharing your magnificent talent with the world and for providing me with an “escape” from the real world!

POTE miniseries was absolutely superb! I got several friends to watch and they also loved it. I have pre-ordered ‘Fall of Giants’ and look forward to reading it, and the full trilogy. I have read all your books, and think you are one of the greats. I recently re-read ‘Triple’, which I read in 1980. It was better the second time around!

Enjoyed the mini series. ‘Pillars’ remains my favorite book of all time. I recommended it to many people as well as the sequel. Looking forward to the new book and the to the sequel mini series. Not only are your books interesting and the characters real, they are educational. Your fiction about the bubonic plague in ‘World Without End’ was more informative and real than anything I ever read elsewhere. Keep up the good work, I encourage all of my grandchildren to read your books. thx

Having just finished watching ‘Pillars of the Earth’, my wife and I were thrilled to see that ‘World Without End’ has a possibility of being made into a mini-series as well. We each read both books and loved the way you brought the characters and settings to life. I am about to start ‘Jackdaws’ and am excited to do so. Thank you for writing such enchanting novels.

Dear Mr. Follett, I’ve a problem with your novels! Every time I start one of your novels, I reduce my sleeping time, and every minute could be good to read. I come back to reality, only when I finish the novel!!!
It’s a problem, it’s a big pleasure problem!
Thank you very much for all your books!!!

Dear Mr. Follett, I admire your works and cannot stop reading your books. I have read all your books in Italian (since it’s my first language) but now that I moved to Australia I am trying to read your works in English. First book is of course ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. I love that story and it’s interesting to read how details and names change from one language to another. I teach Italian but I believe that if teenagers read your books would be more passionate about history as I am. Bravo!

On the off chance that in a moment of boredom you do read you fan e-mail, just let me say that you’ve done it again. I am only at page 49 in ‘Fall of Giants’, but I know for a fact, that I will be neglecting the world around me until I finish the novel. My husband can only blame you when he lies staring at the ceiling and I respond to his conversation with ‘mmhmm’ and “oh that’s nice dear” Each page is like a warm slice of warm country bread, slathered with home made jam. Thank you (I think…)
