Dear Mr. Follett,
My name is Sydnie and I am thirteen years old. What a day to remember when I walked into Barnes and Noble and your book, ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ was on display. The book stood out to me at once, so I got it and began reading. ‘Pillars’ was one of those books I sat down with and before I took a break to even breathe, I was half way done. After I finished ‘Pillars’, I read ‘World Without End’, and was literally crying it was so good. Since then, I have read most of your other books, such as ‘Whiteout’, ‘Lie Down With Lions’, and ‘Eye of the Needle’. I love the way the books are written, the story line, and the dedication you put into what you write. I do hope you continue writing, as I do hope to continue reading your masterpieces.

Ken, I was loaned ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ a few months ago by my daughter (you’re her favourite author) and now I am on my ninth book of yours. I just bought ‘Key to Rebecca’ and ‘Code to Zero’ today. I never read books but since I discovered you, I don’t watch TV anymore! Keep ’em coming!

Just finished reading ‘The Third Twin’, and must say it was excellent. Well, it goes without saying that your books are great. I just hope people will learn about your books in my country, Macedonia, and hopefully we will get them translated. I hope to find ‘World Without End’. Tthank you for giving us such pleasure while reading your books.

I love your books. My family passes them around until we all have read them. I have a bunch more to read and I am looking forward to every one.

I just finished ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and I wanted to tell you how much I loved it. It was great being immersed in the twelfth century. You are a great writer. I am afraid I have nothing original to say. You’ve heard all this a million times.

I never thought it would be possible to adore a book as much as I did with your ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. I was wrong, I just finished reading ‘World Without End’. What a wonderful read, I couldn’t put it down. I am going to the book store tomorrow to pick up another of your books.
Thank you! :)

I have read many of your novels. I have enjoyed all of them, but have most loved ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘World Without End’. I am looking forward to seeing the miniseries of ‘Pillars’. Thank you for sharing your talent and bringing so much joy to so many.

I have been a fan of your books for years, ever since I read ‘Eye of the Needle’. I recently listened to ‘World’ which spurred my curiosity about the Middle Ages, especially the Black Death. I have since done some studying about the period and want to compliment you on your research and how you wove the facts about the mid-1300’s into a remarkable and historically factual novel.

Thank you for bringing to the reader books that are so entertaining and can be read over and over again… I have read ‘Pillars of the Earth’ three times (so far) but love all of your novels…

I have read (as has one of my daughters) most of your books. I enjoy them all but have read ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ three times and ‘World Without End’ twice. I am an architect and enjoy the architectural terminology and try to envision what I read in your novels. Excited to see that a mini series is being done on ‘Pillars’. Keep them coming!

Hi. I read some years ago, ‘Hornet Flight’ and ‘Dangerous Fortune’. I enjoyed them both, and consider ‘Dangerous Fortune’ to be one of the best novels I’ve ever read. I just finished ‘Key to Rebecca’, and enjoyed that immensely. I’ll definitely be reading more of your books – I’ll probably read ‘Pillars’next. Keep up the good work. You’re a great writer.

Hi Ken!
I just finished your book ‘A Dangerous Fortune’ and have read a few others of yours. I just wanted to send you a cheesy piece of fan mail and tell you how much I love your work! I am an avid reader and have never felt so strongly about an author. Thanks so much for all of your hard work. I’m looking forward to ‘The Century.’

If you’ve read several of my books, you might enjoy matching the first line with the title, or guessing the working title
