Dear Mr. Follett

I have been a fan of yours for a long time (since ‘Eye of the Needle’ came out). Am eager for the sequel to ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ as that is my absolute favourite. Am reading ‘Jackdaws’ right now and will try to find ‘Whiteout’ (not easy to find English books in Brussels). Thank you for many most entertaining hours!!

Dear Ken

I just had to write and tell you how much I have enjoyed ‘Pillars of the Earth’. I read it for the first time in 1989 and fell in love with it then. Since that time, I’ve purchased no less than seven copies of the book to replace the ones that I’ve loaned out and never got back, or as a gift for someone who loves a good book.

I have never been more drawn to characters than I have to Philip, Aliena, Jack, Tom and Ellen. I just finished reading it again (about my tenth time) and am handing it over to my husband to enjoy. I would love to see the story brought to life on the television or at the movies, but I highly doubt anyone would be able to do it justice. I have read some of your other books and have also enjoyed them, but none compare to Pillars. Thank you for bringing those people to life and sharing them with the rest of us!

I have just read your last book ‘Hornet Flight’. I must say that it was a really good book! I loved it! Now, I'm going to do a report of the book in school. I live in Sweden, you know! I did just want to thank you for writing such a lovely book!

Dear Mr. Follett,

Please allow me to thank you for the many wonderful hours your books have given me. To date I have read all your books except ‘Paper Money’, ‘The Key to Rebecca’, ‘On Wings of Eagles’ and your children’s books.

I have started a collection and to date I own full size hardback 1st editions of all I own except ‘Eye of The Needle’. My goal is to eventually collect all first editions and some day to collect your children stories books.

Dear Ken

I just wanted to let you know you are one of my favorite authors. I was at the store and and saw ‘Whiteout’. I bought the book and it was so good I went to the bookstore and looked for other books you had written. I bought about 10 of them, I know you have written many more, but these will do for a start. I read ‘Pillars of the Earth’ and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I am glad to hear that you are writing a sequel. I just finished ‘Eye of the Needle’ and it was also a great read. Your books are all so very good, and all different enough so that I am able to read one book after another and the stories stay fresh. I look forward to many hours of reading you books.

Dear Ken

I just finished your latest – ‘Whiteout’. I picked it up to read just a few pages and stopped when I reached the end. Thanks for a very exciting and fast paced read. I love the versatility of your writing and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite and I have read them all.

Thanks again for all your hard work and I am looking forward to the next one.

Dear Mr. Follett,

I have read six of your books now and enjoy each one more than the last. I find them fascinating, intelligent and so well crafted. Being a lover of history, and suspense thriller, you have become my favorite author. Thank you.

If you’ve read several of my books, you might enjoy matching the first line with the title, or guessing the working title
